We became official members of the Polish Plastics Pact in December 2020. This is an important initiative for us and its idea is ideally suited to our actions. The aim of the Pact is to establish a closed – loop economy for plastic packaging in Poland. Closing the plastic cycle requires involvement of all entities along the entire plastics value chain. In order to achieve this goal, it is necessary to cooperate and search for new solutions together. This is how the Polish Plastics Pact works – it connects companies and organisations operating along the plastics value chain to cooperate, share knowledge and have a real impact on the market. This initiative operates within the framework of the 17 Goals Campaign, aimed at mobilizing businesses to work towards achieving the goals of Agenda 2030 – the United Nations program aimed at sustainable development. “Being a member of PPP is a great honor for us. Our commitment is to provide solutions that have a positive impact on the environment. We manufacture products using recycled materials and help companies to significantly reduce the amount of plastic. Another important fact is that during the manufacturing process of our films, we use all of the raw material and do not generate waste. As members of the pact, we can have an even more positive impact on other companies as well!” – says Tomasz Szałas, CEO of the company. Currently, the pact consists of 22 members, including top companies and important market players such as Unilever, Danone, Carrefour, Lidl, Biedronka and LPP. It makes us proud that we can work together in such a noble group, for the sake of the planet!
